Renowned American fiddler Craig Judelman spent years visiting legendary masters including Clyde Davenport, Joe Thompson & Alice Gerard, was mentored by John Cohen and recorded with him for Smithsonian Folkways, and now brings his expertise from Berlin to the UK.
This Thursday he’ll be leading an Old Time fiddle workshop for a deep dive into traditional fiddle style and technique, followed by a performance in the duo formation of his band Interstate Express with guitarist Jack B. Latimer featuring rags, breakdowns, mountain ballads, and harmony songs. The evening concludes with an open session by the fire in this lovely traditional pub!
